North Carolina High School Softball - Western Harnett nudges Pine Forest

March 18, 2022: Fayetteville, NC 28311

Western Harnett Eagles (Lillington, NC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Pine Forest Trojans (Fayetteville, NC), 8-7 in a league challenge.

The Eagles now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Westover for a All American 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 22. Western Harnett will face a Wolverines squad coming off a 18-0 league loss to Harnett Central (Angier, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 0-4.

With the loss, Pine Forest falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Trojans host Harnett Central (Angier, NC) to face the Trojans in a All American 3A/4A challenge on Tuesday, March 22. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 5-1. Harnett Central won 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Westover (Fayetteville, NC)
