California High School Softball - Verdugo Hills can't get by Poly

In Friday's league contest, the Poly Parrots (Sun Valley, CA) softball team held off the host Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA), by a margin of 3-2.

With the triumph, Poly moves its record to 4-3 on the year. The Parrots host Chavez (San Fernando, CA) to play the Eagles in a East Valley contest on Wednesday, March 23. The Eagles come into the contest with a record of 5-2. Chavez won 25-0 in their recent league contest against Monroe (North Hills, CA)

In their next game, the Dons play the Arleta Mustangs (Arleta, CA) in a East Valley contest, on Wednesday, March 23. Verdugo Hills will attempt to move on its 4-2 season record. The Mustangs come into the contest with a 6-1 record after their 2-0 league win over North Hollywood (North Hollywood, CA).
