The crowd at Saturday's non-league match between the Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) and the host Clovis Wildcats (Clovis, NM), witnessed Mayfield's baseball team gain a win over Clovis by a score of 7-4.
The Trojans (6-0) will now prepare for their match against Las Cruces (Las Cruces, NM). The Bulldawgs go into the match with a 7-0 record. In their last match, Las Cruces tipped Bel Air (El Paso, TX), 17-0, in a non-league match.
The Wildcats (1-8) will now prepare for their match against Portales (Portales, NM). The Rams go into the non-league match with a 1-0 record.
