In Saturday's non-league contest, the Lakeland Hawks (Rathdrum, ID) softball team overwhelmed the host Lakeside Eagles (Nine Mile Falls, WA), by a margin of 34-6.
With the triumph, Lakeland moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Hawks host Timberlake (Spirit Lake, ID) to play the Tigers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 4. The Tigers come into the contest with a record of 0-0.
In their next game, the Eagles play the Sandpoint Bulldogs (Sandpoint, ID) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 18. Lakeside will attempt to move on its 0-2 season record.
