California High School Softball - Saint Joseph nudges Bellflower

Saint Joseph Jesters (Lakewood, CA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Bellflower Buccaneers (Bellflower, CA), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

The Jesters now sport a 5-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to Mary Star of the Sea for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 23.

With the loss, Bellflower falls to 6-6 on the campaign. The Buccaneers travel to Lynwood (Lynwood, CA) to face the Knights in a San Gabriel Valley challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Lynwood lost 19-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA)
