West Monroe Rebels (West Monroe, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Benton Tigers (Benton, LA), 28-4 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 15-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Ruston for a 5A District 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 21. West Monroe will battle a Bearcats squad coming off a 10-4 non-league win over Minden (Minden, LA). The Bearcats record now stands at 3-11.

With the loss, Benton falls to 8-8 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Haughton (Haughton, LA) to battle the Buccaneers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 21. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 5-7.
