Dos Pueblos Chargers (Goleta, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA), 8-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Chargers now own a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Santa Barbara for a Channel challenge on Tuesday, March 21. Dos Pueblos will battle a Dons squad coming off a 13-0 league loss to Oxnard (Oxnard, CA). The Dons record now stands at 2-6.

With the loss, Thousand Oaks falls to 5-7 on the campaign. The Lancers travel to Calabasas (Calabasas, CA) to battle the Coyotes in a Marmonte challenge on Monday, March 20. The Coyotes enter the challenge with a record of 1-11. Calabasas won 5-4 in their recent non-league challenge against Taft (Woodland Hills, CA)
