Spectators at Monday's league battle between the St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC) and the host East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC), saw St. Stephens's baseball squad knock off East Lincoln by a count of 10-3.

Coming up next, the Indians play the Hickory Red Tornadoes (Hickory, NC) in a Western Foothills 3A battle, on Tuesday, March 19. St. Stephens will attempt to move on its 3-2 season record. The Red Tornadoes enter the battle with a 1-5 record after their 6-4 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC).

The Mustangs now possess a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Lincoln for a Western Foothills 3A battle on Wednesday, March 20. East Lincoln will play a Knights squad coming off a 3-2 league loss to Foard (Newton, NC). The Knights record now stands at 4-3.
