The Perry Panthers baseball team scored 16 runs and limited the visiting Northside Eagles to 6 in the Panthers non-league victory on Monday.
The Panthers (14-2) will now prepare for their match against Howard (Macon, GA). The Huskies go into the 4A Area 2 match with a 4-7 record. In their last match, Howard gained a win over Baldwin (Milledgeville, GA), 8-7, in a league match.
The Eagles (1-11) will now prepare for their match against Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Blue Devils go into the 6A Area 1 match with a 12-1 record. In their last match, Tift County gained a win over Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA), 5-2, in a league match.
