Illinois High School Volleyball - Marquette Catholic Alton

The Marquette Catholic Explorers volleyball team (Alton, IL), went down 2-0 in Monday's non-league challenge with the host Alton Redbirds (Alton, IL)

The Redbirds (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Althoff Catholic (Belleville, IL). The Crusaders come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Althoff Catholic defeated Maryville Christian (Maryville, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Explorers encounter the Metro-East Lutheran Knights (Edwardsville, IL) in a Gateway Metro challenge, on Thursday, March 21. Marquette Catholic will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 league loss to Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL).
