The New Designs University Park Cardinals volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting USC Hybrid Trojans to 2 in the Cardinals league victory on Monday.

The Cardinals now have a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gertz-Ressler for a Metro game on Wednesday, March 20. New Designs University Park will meet a Pumas team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Burton (Los Angeles, CA). The Pumas record now stands at 3-5.

The Trojans (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Animo Robinson (Los Angeles, CA). The Monarchs enter the Metro game with a 10-0 record. In their last game, Animo Robinson held off Los Angeles Academy of Arts & Enterprise (Los Angeles, CA), 3-0, in a league game.
