The East Lincoln Mustangs baseball team scored 7 runs and limited the visiting St. Stephens Indians to 3 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Monday.
The Mustangs (4-0) will now prepare for their match against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights go into the non-league match with a 2-4 record. In their last match, North Lincoln edged Foard (Newton, NC), 12-2, in a non-league match.
The Indians (2-1) will now prepare for their match against Hickory (Hickory, NC). The Red Tornadoes go into the non-league match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Hickory was overwhelmed by North Iredell (Olin, NC), 9-0, in a league match.
