Alabama High School Softball - Oneonta bounces Ashville

March 18, 2024: Oneonta, AL 35121

Spectators at Monday's league match between the Oneonta Redskins (Oneonta, AL) and the visiting Ashville Bulldogs (Ashville, AL), witnessed Oneonta's softball squad tip Ashville by a count of 5-1.

The Redskins now sport a 7-10 record. They play next when they travel to West End for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 19. Oneonta will meet a Patriots squad coming off a 13-0 league win over Holly Pond (Holly Pond, AL). The Patriots record now stands at 9-0.

With the loss, Ashville moves to 10-6 on the season. The Bulldogs host Talladega (Talladega, AL) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, March 19. The Tigers go into the match with a record of 1-12. Talladega lost 16-9 in their recent non-league match against Victory Christian (Pell City, AL)
