The Clinton Dragons softball team scored 17 runs and limited the host Coalfield Yellow Jackets to 0 in the Dragons non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Clinton moves its record to 3-2 on the year. The Dragons travel to Halls (Knoxville, TN) to clash with the Red Devils in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 20. The Red Devils come into the game with a record of 7-0. Halls won 10-0 in their recent league game against Oak Ridge (Oak Ridge, TN)

In their next game, the Yellow Jackets clash with the Jellico Blue Devils (Jellico, TN) in a 1A District 3 game, on Tuesday, March 19. Coalfield will attempt to move on its 1-2 season record. The Blue Devils come into the game with a 0-3 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to McCreary Central (Stearns, KY).
