North Carolina High School Softball - East Lincoln bounces St. Stephens

The East Lincoln Mustangs (Denver, NC) softball routed the visiting St. Stephens Indians (Hickory, NC), 7-1 in Monday's league bout.

The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their bout against North Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Knights go into the Western Foothills 3A bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, North Lincoln was routed by Foard (Newton, NC), 10-0, in a league bout.

The Indians now possess a 0-5 record. They play next when they host Hickory for a Western Foothills 3A bout on Tuesday, March 19. St. Stephens will confront a Red Tornadoes squad coming off a 19-1 league loss to North Iredell (Olin, NC). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 1-5.
