The Purvis Tornadoes softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Greene County Wildcats to 3 in the Tornadoes non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Purvis moves its record to 8-1 on the year. The Tornadoes host Columbia (Columbia, MS) to clash with the Wildcats in a 4A Region 7 game on Tuesday, March 19. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 2-1.

In their next game, the Wildcats clash with the Moss Point Tigers (Moss Point, MS) in a 4A Region 8 game, on Tuesday, March 19. Greene County will attempt to move on its 3-9 season record.
