The Orange Glen Patriots (Escondido, CA) softball routed the visiting Julian Eagles (Julian, CA), 18-8 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Patriots (2-3) will now prepare for their bout against Hoover (San Diego, CA). The Cardinals go into the non-league bout with a 1-9 record. In their last bout, Hoover was routed by Southwest SD (San Diego, CA), 28-9, in a non-league bout.

The Eagles now possess a 1-4 record. They play next when they host Calipatria for a non-league bout on Thursday, March 21. Julian will confront a Hornets squad coming off a 24-11 non-league win over Desert Mirage (Thermal, CA). The Hornets record now stands at 5-1.
