Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Rolesville Rams (Rolesville, NC), 14-0 in a league challenge.

The Wolverines now sport a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wake Forest for a Northern Athletic 4A challenge on Wednesday, March 20. Wakefield will face a Cougars squad coming off a 19-0 league win over Knightdale (Knightdale, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 5-2.

With the loss, Rolesville falls to 3-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Millbrook (Raleigh, NC) to face the Wildcats in a Northern Athletic 4A challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 2-4. Millbrook lost 18-0 in their recent league challenge against Heritage (Wake Forest, NC)
