Southern Trojans (Louisville, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Seneca Red Hawks (Louisville, KY), 16-10 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Seneca for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21.

With the loss, Seneca falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Red hawks host Waggener (Louisville, KY) to battle the Wildcats in a District 27 challenge on Wednesday, March 20. The Wildcats enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
