The West Stanly Colts triumphed over the host Anson Bearcats baseball squad by a score of 18-1 in Tuesday's league outing.
Next up, the Colts battle the Uwharrie Charter Academy Eagles (Asheboro, NC) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, March 19. West Stanly will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 4-3 record after their 3-1 league win over Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC).
The Bearcats (2-7) will now prepare for their outing against Chesterfield (Chesterfield, SC). The Golden Rams come into the non-league outing with a 4-2 record. In their last outing, Chesterfield was overwhelmed by Buford (Lancaster, SC), 11-0, in a non-league outing.
