The Damien Monarchs baseball team scored 3 runs and held the visiting Mid-Pacific Institute Owls to 2 in the Monarchs league win on Tuesday.

The Monarchs now hold a 4-2 record. They take the field next when they host Maryknoll for a Interscholastic League [ILH] test on Thursday, March 20. Damien will play a Spartans team coming off a 4-3 league loss to Pac-Five (Honolulu, HI). The Spartans record now stands at 0-3.

With the defeat, Mid-Pacific Institute drops to 1-2 on the year. The Owls host Kamehameha Kapalama (Honolulu, HI) to play the Warriors in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Warriors go into the test with a record of 4-2. Kamehameha Kapalama won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against 'Iolani (Honolulu, HI)
