The Vinton Lions baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host East Beauregard Trojans to 1 in the Lions league win on Tuesday.

The Lions now hold a 11-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to DeQuincy for a 2A District 4 test on Thursday, March 20. Vinton will play a Tigers team coming off a 14-4 non-league win over Glenmora (Glenmora, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 15-8.

With the defeat, East Beauregard drops to 2-8 on the year. The Trojans travel to Grand Lake (Lake Charles, LA) to play the Hornets in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Hornets go into the test with a record of 12-5. Grand Lake won 11-0 in their recent non-league test against Singer (Singer, LA)
