North Carolina High School Baseball - Rockingham County prevails Eastern Guilford

March 18, 2025: Gibsonville, NC 27249

The Rockingham County Cougars baseball team scored 11 runs and held the host Eastern Guilford Wildcats to 2 in the Cougars league win on Tuesday.

The Cougars now hold a 7-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Morehead for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. Rockingham County will play a Panthers team coming off a 6-1 league loss to Walkertown (Walkertown, NC). The Panthers record now stands at 2-5.

With the defeat, Eastern Guilford drops to 2-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Southeast Alamance (Haw River, NC) to play the Stallions in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Stallions go into the test with a record of 7-2. Southeast Alamance won 18-5 in their recent non-league test against Carrboro (Carrboro, NC)
