Florida High School Baseball - Jefferson County wallops FAMU DRS

March 18, 2025: Monticello, FL 32344

The Jefferson County Tigers baseball team scored 14 runs and held the visiting FAMU DRS Baby Rattlers to 4 in the Tigers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Tigers now hold a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Rickards for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. Jefferson County will play a Raiders team coming off a 7-2 non-league loss to Aucilla Christian (Monticello, FL). The Raiders record now stands at 3-10.

With the defeat, FAMU DRS drops to 3-2 on the year. The Baby rattlers travel to Munroe (Quincy, FL) to play the Bobcats in a Rural District 5 test on Thursday, March 20. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 1-11. Munroe lost 10-2 in their recent non-league test against Vernon (Vernon, FL)
