Arizona High School Baseball - Seton Catholic edges Florence

March 18, 2025: Florence, AZ 85132

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Seton Catholic Sentinels (Chandler, AZ) and the host Florence Gophers (Florence, AZ), saw Seton Catholic's baseball team gain a win over Florence by a tally of 3-0.

The Sentinels (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against St. Mary's (Phoenix, AZ). The Knights enter the 4A Desert Sky battle with a 8-3 record. In their last battle, St. Mary's held off Combs (San Tan Valley, AZ), 13-4, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Gophers face the Apache Junction Prospectors (Apache Junction, AZ) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 21. Florence will attempt to upgrade on its 6-2 season record. The Prospectors enter the battle with a 5-4 record after their 13-3 league win over Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ).
