The Haynes Academy baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting St. Martin's Episcopal Saints to 5 in the non-league win on Tuesday.

The now hold a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Terrebonne for a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. Haynes Academy will play a Gators team coming off a 14-2 league win over A.J. Ellender (Houma, LA). The Gators record now stands at 8-12.

With the defeat, St. Martin's Episcopal drops to 8-8 on the year. The Saints host Bonnabel (Kenner, LA) to play the Bruins in a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. The Bruins go into the test with a record of 11-8. Bonnabel won 16-1 in their recent league test against West Jefferson (Harvey, LA)
