The Kennard Tigers baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Neches Tigers to 8 in the Tigers league win on Tuesday.

The Tigers now hold a 2-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to Centerville for a 1A Region III District 22 test on Friday, March 21. Kennard will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 9-0 league win over Wells (Wells, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 5-1.

With the defeat, Neches drops to 4-4 on the year. The Tigers host Wells (Wells, TX) to play the Pirates in a non-league test on Friday, March 21. The Pirates go into the test with a record of 0-2. Wells lost 9-0 in their recent league test against Centerville (Groveton, TX)
