North Carolina High School Baseball - Midway wallops South Lenoir

March 18, 2025: Deep Run, NC 28525

The Midway Raiders (Dunn, NC) baseball trounced the host South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC), 13-3 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

The Raiders now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cape Fear for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 19. Midway will clash with a Colts team coming off a 8-1 league win over Jack Britt (Fayetteville, NC). The Colts record now stands at 6-4.

With the defeat, South Lenoir drops to 6-1 on the year. The Blue devils travel to Southwest Onslow (Jacksonville, NC) to clash with the Stallions in a East Central 2A challenge on Friday, March 21. The Stallions go into the challenge with a record of 5-2. Southwest Onslow won 14-3 in their recent league challenge against James Kenan (Warsaw, NC)
