The North Stokes Vikings baseball team scored 10 runs and held the visiting Starmount Rams to 0 in the Vikings league win on Tuesday.
The Vikings now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thomasville for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. North Stokes will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 28-2 league win over North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.
With the defeat, Starmount drops to 4-4 on the year. The Rams host North Stokes (Danbury, NC) to confront the Vikings in a Northwest 1A match on Friday, March 21. The Vikings come into the match with a record of 8-2. North Stokes won 8-1 in their recent non-league match against Thomasville (Thomasville, NC)
