Tennessee High School Baseball - Sweetwater holds off Polk County

The crowd at Tuesday's league battle between the Sweetwater Wildcats (Sweetwater, TN) and the host Polk County Wildcats (Benton, TN), saw Sweetwater's baseball team beat Polk County by a margin of 8-4.

The Wildcats (5-3) will now prepare for their battle against Webb (Knoxville, TN). The Spartans enter the non-league battle with a 2-8 record. In their last battle, Webb held off Concord Christian (Knoxville, TN), 10-1, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Wildcats face the Copper Basin Cougars (Copperhill, TN) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 20. Polk County will attempt to improve on its 1-6 season record. The Cougars enter the battle with a 1-4 record after their 13-0 non-league loss to Robbinsville (Robbinsville, NC).
