The Whitewater Wildcats baseball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Sandy Creek Patriots to 1 in the Wildcats league win on Tuesday.
The Wildcats now own a 11-5 record. They take the field next when they host Carrollton for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. Whitewater will play a Trojans team coming off a 14-6 non-league win over Campbell (Smyrna, GA). The Trojans record now stands at 11-5.
With the defeat, Sandy Creek drops to 5-11 on the year. The Patriots host LaGrange (LaGrange, GA) to play the Grangers in a AAA Region 2 test on Thursday, March 20. The Grangers go into the test with a record of 11-6. LaGrange won 10-0 in their recent league test against Spalding (Griffin, GA)
