In Tuesday's non-league game, the host St. John Eagles baseball team scored a close 7-3 victory over the Thibodaux Tigers.
The Eagles (11-6) will now prepare for their game against False River (New Roads, LA). The Gators enter the non-league game with a 1-15 record. In their last game, False River held off Family Christian (Baton Rouge, LA), 20-13, in a league game.
Next, the Tigers face the St. James Wildcats (St. James, LA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, March 20. Thibodaux will attempt to improve on its 11-10 season record. The Wildcats enter the game with a 13-4 record after their 7-4 non-league win over East St. John (Reserve, LA).
