With the win, Mira Costa improves its record to 19-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Loyola (Los Angeles, CA) to encounter the Cubs in a non-league battle on Friday, March 21. The Cubs go into the battle with a record of 12-2. Loyola lost 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA)
The Panthers now own a 11-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host El Segundo for a Bay battle on Thursday, March 20. Peninsula will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Redondo Union (Redondo Beach, CA). The Eagles record now stands at 13-1.
