The Simon Kenton Pioneers baseball team scored 15 runs and held the visiting Highlands Bluebirds to 8 in the Pioneers non-league win on Tuesday.

The Pioneers now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Scott for a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19.

With the defeat, Highlands drops to 1-1 on the year. The Bluebirds host Scott (Covington, KY) to play the Eagles in a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-0.
