The Pike County Pirates soccer squad scored 6 points and held the visiting Callaway Cavaliers to 0 in the Pirates league victory on Tuesday.
The Pirates now possess a 9-1 record. They play next when they host McIntosh for a non-league bout on Friday, March 21. Pike County will play a Chiefs squad coming off a 2-0 league win over Newnan (Newnan, GA). The Chiefs record now stands at 9-4.
With the loss, Callaway moves to 8-4 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Westside (Macon, GA) to play the Seminoles in a 2A Region 2 bout on Friday, March 21. The Seminoles go into the bout with a record of 4-4. Westside won 4-0 in their recent league bout against Rutland (Macon, GA)
