Georgia High School Soccer - Lowndes knocks off Colquitt County

In Tuesday's league outing, the visiting Lowndes Vikings soccer squad scored a tight 6-0 victory over the Colquitt County Packers.

The Vikings (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA). The Purple Hurricane go into the non-league outing with a 5-5 record. In their last outing, Fitzgerald got by Crisp County (Cordele, GA), 5-2, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Packers play the Richmond Hill Wildcats (Richmond Hill, GA) in a 6A Region 1 outing, on Friday, March 21. Colquitt County will attempt to improve on its 5-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the outing with a 10-1 record after their 10-0 league win over Tift County (Tifton, GA).
