Union Spartans (Rose Hill, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team triumph over the host Lakewood Leopards (Roseboro, NC), 7-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Union advances its record to 1-3 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a Carolina 1A test on Wednesday, March 19. The Eagles come into the test with a record of 0-4. Rosewood lost 2-1 in their recent league test against Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC)

The Leopards now have a 0-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Duplin for a Carolina 1A test on Thursday, March 20. Lakewood will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 3-1 league win over Neuse Charter (Smithfield, NC). The Rebels record now stands at 2-1.
