The North Duplin Rebels soccer squad scored 3 points and held the visiting Neuse Charter Cougars to 1 in the Rebels league victory on Tuesday.

The Rebels now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Lakewood for a Carolina 1A bout on Thursday, March 20. North Duplin will play a Leopards squad coming off a 7-2 league loss to Union (Rose Hill, NC). The Leopards record now stands at 0-7.

With the loss, Neuse Charter moves to 3-3 on the year. The Cougars host Hobbton (Newton Grove, NC) to play the Wildcats in a Carolina 1A bout on Thursday, March 20. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 2-4. Hobbton won 2-1 in their recent league bout against Rosewood (Goldsboro, NC)
