South Columbus Stallions (Tabor City, NC) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Pender Patriots (Burgaw, NC), 3-1 in a league test.

With the triumph, South Columbus advances its record to 1-4 on the campaign. The Stallions travel to West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC) to clash with the Knights in a non-league test on Wednesday, March 19. The Knights come into the test with a record of 1-4. West Bladen lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Whiteville (Whiteville, NC)

The Patriots now have a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Columbus for a Waccamaw 1A/2A test on Friday, March 21. Pender will clash with a Stallions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over West Bladen (Bladenboro, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 2-4.
