The Emmaus Hornets (Emmaus, PA) baseball trounced the host Allentown Central Catholic Vikings (Allentown, PA), 17-8 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.
The Hornets now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Nazareth Area for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. Emmaus will clash with a Blue Eagles team coming off a 14-0 non-league win over Freedom (Bethlehem, PA). The Blue Eagles record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Allentown Central Catholic drops to 0-1 on the year. The Vikings travel to Easton Area (Easton, PA) to clash with the Rovers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Rovers go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
