The Westview Wolverines baseball team scored 4 runs and held the host Escondido Cougars to 3 in the Wolverines non-league win on Tuesday.
The Wolverines now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Canyon Crest Academy for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. Westview will play a Ravens team coming off a 12-2 non-league loss to Oceanside (Oceanside, CA). The Ravens record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Escondido drops to 1-4 on the year. The Cougars travel to Rancho Buena Vista (Vista, CA) to play the Longhorns in a non-league test on Saturday, March 22. The Longhorns go into the test with a record of 0-4. Rancho Buena Vista lost 12-5 in their recent non-league test against El Camino (Oceanside, CA)
