The Newberry Bulldogs soccer squad scored 6 points and held the host Swansea Tigers to 2 in the Bulldogs league victory on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to Woodruff for a non-league bout on Wednesday, March 19. Newberry will play a Wolverines squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Mid-Carolina (Prosperity, SC). The Wolverines record now stands at 7-1.
With the loss, Swansea moves to 0-4 on the year. The Tigers host Wando (Mt. Pleasant, SC) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Saturday, March 22. The Warriors go into the bout with a record of 4-2.
