The Whitney Wildcats lacrosse squad scored 17 points and limited the visiting Folsom Bulldogs to 1 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now own a 6-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Granite Bay for a Sierra Foothill League challenge on Thursday, March 20. Whitney will clash with a Grizzlies squad coming off a 15-3 league win over Rocklin (Rocklin, CA). The Grizzlies record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Folsom falls to 1-4 on the year. The Bulldogs host Del Oro (Loomis, CA) to clash with the Golden Eagles in a Sierra Foothill League challenge on Thursday, March 20. The Golden Eagles go into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Del Oro lost 15-9 in their recent league challenge against Jesuit (Carmichael, CA)
