Salt Lake Academy Griffins (Herriman, UT) backers exited the stadium pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the visiting Bingham Miners (South Jordan, UT), 3-2 in a league test.

With the triumph, Salt Lake Academy advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Griffins travel to Riverton (Riverton, UT) to clash with the Silverwolves in a 6A Region 2 test on Friday, March 21. The Silverwolves come into the test with a record of 5-1. Riverton won 4-0 in their recent league test against Corner Canyon (Draper, UT)

The Miners now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wasatch for a non-league test on Monday, March 24. Bingham will clash with a Wasps team coming off a 3-0 league win over Maple Mountain (Spanish Fork, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 4-1.
