Arizona High School Softball - Ajo edges Gila Bend

The Ajo Red Raiders softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Gila Bend Gila Monsters to 10 in the Red Raiders league win on Tuesday.
The Red Raiders now possess a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Heritage Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, March 21. Ajo will confront a Heroes team coming off a 22-0 non-league win over Imagine Prep Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ). The Heroes record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, Gila Bend moves to 1-3 on the season. The Gila monsters host Tohono O'Odham (Sells, AZ) to confront the Eagles in a non-league battle on Friday, March 21. The Eagles come into the battle with a record of 0-2.
