The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Caldwell Hornets (Caldwell, TX) and the host Bellville Brahmas (Bellville, TX), observed Caldwell's softball team notch a victory over Bellville by a tally of 15-3.

The Hornets (10-8) will now prepare for their bout against Navasota (Navasota, TX). The Rattlers go into the 4A Region III District 22 bout with a 2-7 record. In their last bout, Navasota was routed by Giddings (Giddings, TX), 8-5, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Brahmas battle the La Grange Leopards (La Grange, TX) in a 4A Region III District 22 bout, on Friday, March 21. Bellville will attempt to advance on its 9-11 season record. The Leopards go into the bout with a 10-7 record after their 4-3 league loss to Smithville (Smithville, TX).
