Brazos Cougars (Wallis, TX) supporters left the game thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Hitchcock Bulldogs (Hitchcock, TX), 11-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Brazos improves its record to 4-13 on the year. The Cougars host Boling (Boling, TX) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region III District 24 game on Friday, March 21. The Bulldogs enter the game with a record of 3-7. Boling lost 4-0 in their recent league game against East Bernard (East Bernard, TX)

The Bulldogs now hold a 10-3 record. They play next when they travel to Van Vleck for a 3A Region III District 24 game on Friday, March 21. Hitchcock will face a Leopards squad coming off a 10-0 league win over Hempstead (Hempstead, TX). The Leopards record now stands at 8-3.
