The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Steele Knights (Cibolo, TX) and the host Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX), observed Steele's softball team get by Canyon by a final score of 5-4.

The Knights (12-8) will now prepare for their bout against Johnson (Buda, TX). The Jaguars go into the 6A Region IV District 27 bout with a 15-2 record. In their last bout, Johnson tipped Judson (Converse, TX), 11-1, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Cougars battle the San Marcos Rattlers (San Marcos, TX) in a 6A Region IV District 27 bout, on Friday, March 21. Canyon will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Rattlers go into the bout with a 9-10 record after their 10-0 league loss to Steele (Cibolo, TX).
