The Richards School for Young Women Leaders (Austin, TX) softball nipped the visiting Cedar Creek Eagles (Cedar Creek, TX), 9-8 in Tuesday's league outing.

The now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bastrop for a 5A Region III District 24 outing on Tuesday, March 25. Richards School for Young Women Leaders will encounter a Bears team coming off a 15-0 league win over McCallum (Austin, TX). The Bears record now stands at 11-6.

With the loss, Cedar Creek moves to 1-17 on the season. The Eagles travel to Crockett (Austin, TX) to encounter the Cougars in a 5A Region III District 24 outing on Tuesday, March 25.
