The Central Tigers softball team scored 12 runs and held the visiting Little Rock Southwest Gryphons to 1 in the Tigers league win on Tuesday.

The Tigers now sport a 9-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlisle for a non-league battle on Wednesday, March 19. Central will confront a Bison team coming off a 15-5 non-league win over Central Arkansas Christian (North Little Rock, AR). The Bison record now stands at 7-6.

With the loss, Little Rock Southwest moves to 1-6 on the season. The Gryphons host Mount St. Mary Academy (Little Rock, AR) to confront the Belles in a non-league battle on Thursday, March 20. The Belles come into the battle with a record of 3-3. Mount St. Mary Academy won 14-6 in their recent league battle against Parkview (Little Rock, AR)
